Application:
1.Propylene glycol can also be used as a chemical intermediate in the production of high performance unsaturated polyester resins used in paints and varnishes. Used as plasticizer, surface active agent, emulsifying agent and demulsifying agent.
2.It is also an excellent solvent that is utilised in printing inks
3.it is also used in the manufacture of non-ionic detergents which are used in the petroleum, sugar-refining, and paper making industries.
4.It can also be used in the cryonics industry and can be used as mould inhibitor, antiseptic for fruit, ice inhibitor and an additive in pipe tobacco as it prevents dehydration.
Packing and Storage:
It can be packed by ISO tank, galvanized iron drum, plastic drum, IBC or flexitank, etc.
Storage: in cool and windy special warehouse far from fire and transported as a general chemical product.
